THE STUDIO
Rossiter Studio approaches each project through the lens of interior architecture, creating homes that feel considered, characterful and refined.
With an appreciation for French and European design, we are drawn to interiors that balance restraint with warmth, where architectural detail, natural materials and contemporary design sit comfortably alongside antiques and pieces with history. Whether working with an existing building or a new home, the architecture informs the interior, creating spaces that feel connected to their setting and individual to the people who live there.
“We believe there is already enough furniture in the world. Wherever possible, we look to what already exists, choosing pieces with history and character to sit alongside the new.”
Emma Rossiter – Founder & Interior Design Architect
Emma Rossiter is an Interior Design Architect and founder of Rossiter Studio, an Irish interior architecture and design practice based in Cork.
With a BSc (Hons) in Interior Architecture, Emma established the studio with a focus on residential interiors and a particular interest in the relationship between architecture, furniture and the decorative arts.
Her work is informed by a longstanding appreciation of period architecture and European design, particularly French interiors, where antiques, contemporary pieces and art are brought together with an apparent ease. This approach carries through each project, from the sensitive reworking of an existing home to the development of a completely new interior.
Working closely with clients, craftspeople and specialist makers, Emma oversees projects from early spatial planning and architectural detailing through to materials, bespoke joinery, furniture and the final layers of a home.
